A Good Little Girls Zine

My Defense

It’s barely           there anymore
I hear
these words    and

immediately am blaming

me,                                 then      I’m defensive
I’ve
been
through
so much
the list in my head
begins:

illness    illness  illness  meds   meds  meds   transition  transition  transition
like a long train that’s speeding by
and      I       am     waiting       for     it    so    I      can  finally

crossover.
