A Good Little Girls Zine

I am easy
Rest
Sleep
Naps
Dance
Sing
Teach
Laugh

I am easy
Rest
Love
Lean
Eat
Connect
Think

I am easy
Yet I watch it knowing it’s normal to feel this, think this
I feel it and wonder
Wonder when will it feel easy again
When will I feel comfort

I am easy
Breathe
Love
Unwind
Dance
Sing
Connect
See

Easy has become so hard
It’ll pass they tell me.
You’ll find easy again, I hear.
But I remain dwelling in it:
Maintaining the loss,
Firm in my palm
Flashes of sunny laughter and lovely comfort.
In my palm
Easy.
