A Good Little Girls Zine

Searching, Searching, I Find

I dream
Everyday
Looking for clarity

Searching
Searching the train for answers
Outside the landscape: green, lush, infinite
looks back with serenity

I wander
through the fields of daisies and dirt
asking,
begging for guidance
the petals, they twinkle
resting in the sun

Jogging
Jogging next to the ocean
I look to the endless
Sand, Waves, and Big Bright Sun
Give me answers
Give me
Give ME!

The infinite trio smile back
warming me

Suddenly
a curtain draws up
little tiny drops hit my head
big, bigger drops hit my head
faster and faster
until I'm soaked through

---I Stop
Wind skates and twirls
around me
through me
inhale, it whispers

There are no more questions
Just soft clapping
splashing of raindrops
meeting the waves
like old friends meeting
in their familiar place.

I am still.
They are still.
We.
are.
still.
