A Good Little Girls Zine

Just this Once

Like a snowstorm in July I sit jumbled, puzzled, churning

A shiny old-new problem presents itself, begging, poking, jangling me

My toes curl over the edge of the skyscraper, pretending to hold on, but even they know, I’m going to dive

It is what I do; it is all I know

For solving a problem is in my DNA and this one, well this one I’ve already solved thousands of times

Yet, my toes hold on to that edge, hoping, yearning, looking for it, you, us to do it different this time

Just this once, try it another way.
