A Good Little Girls Zine

Nothing, Everything

We did nothing today,
nothing at all for hours and hours,
but it was everything, everything to us
because after years of social media and
texting and
letter writing and
fiction writing and
dreaming, man did we dream and dream and dream
because after years of you can do this and
do eeetttt and
yaaassss queen
so many yaaassss queen’s
because after years of selfies and
outfit pics and
“yes or no’s”
so many “what do you think’s?”
and waiting, waiting, waiting for
well all of it,

we reunited this Sunday
became normal again,
only to part tomorrow and
return
back to all the
“who do you need me to write a hate poem about’s?”
and “what do we think of’s” and
so many more unyielding hours of
company
laughter
leaning
from far,
far away.
