Don’t you spend your nights twisting and turning
sweating and shivering

spend your days planning and preparing
perfecting and paving

those who hover over your head haunting you most nights.

Don’t awaken mid lumber shaking with fear no more,
for I am with you always–a cashmere wrap to warm you
A constant reminder that no matter the weather,
