A Good Little Girls Zine

Tomorrow
I plunge
In
to the vast unknown—an unyielding pool of perfection
The pit of my stomach tingles
with thrill and fear
But
I know
it’s the step I have to take
no matter the cost—
whether it be a responsible bank account
or the stability that I’ve always chosen over my heart
Setting aside others’ opinions and advice,
I follow
a path I can’t quite see fully yet,
trusting myself to fumble and get back up
giving myself the freedom to struggle and even possibly fail
knowing that in the end I will have lived with no unturned rocks
This
is
my
promise.
