A Good Little Girls Zine

The Birth of No

The Birth of No:

I declare

No

two letters

one giant word

some days standing in front of guilt, fear

Other days standing free

I declare

No

to unrealistic expectations that have to do with your fears and needs

to false realities that materialize in the darkness

sometimes nailed down to the concrete floor,

standing firm

other times moving slightly with the wind

Today, I declare No

to the tasks piling on due to your fears of the future, the unknown

no to doing more when there’s little left to give

this time unflinching

allowing the guilt to float away.
