I try to walk
Straight across
Each step I place
gently forward

Genuine simple

It feels
straight

Until I turn
make my way back
And see for the first time
My footprints–clear for miles and miles
Never straight
always curving
It’s there
Right there
For all to read:
There is no straight line
From one point to another.
Only curvy,
only bendy
