Thanksgiving Part Un, Deux, et Trois

Un–Wednesday

Attendees:  My love and I

  1. Organic, farm raised, responsibly farmed turkey breast basted with an olive oil, ginger, garlic, rosemary, thyme puree
  2. Stuffing: chopped challah bread, sausage, pureed together-celery, onion, sage, carrot, chopped chestnuts, evaporated fat-free milk, turkey broth, one egg
  3. Brussel sprouts  mixed with onion, orange peel, bacon
  4. Dessert:  Sweet Potato Pie–sweet potato puree, egg, milk, in a graham cracker crust

Ambiance:  INT. Modern Apartment, Romance with a capital R! Cozy and Loving.

Deux–Thursday morning

Attendees:  My love, My Mom, and Me

  1. Mom’s Egg Curry
  2. Mom’s Coconut Rice

Ambiance:  Early 90’s decorated rambler home, nostalgia, and comfort

Trois–Thursday Night

Attendees:  In-laws and their extended family, one pregnant sister-in-law, My Love, Me

  1. Potato Salad
  2. Roast Beef
  3. Curried Goat
  4. Jerk Chicken
  5. Turkey
  6. Salmon
  7. Roasted Root Vegetables
  8. Rice and peas
  9. dinner rolls
  10. Mac and cheese
  11. 6 different types of desserts including two different bread puddings, coconut cake, chocolate cake, cheesecake

Ambiance:  Large Mansion of a home, chatter, loud laughter, reggae music, eating as a sport

All three done. Two overstuffed humans.  End the night with a car ride filled with Christmas carols and an episode of The Big Bang Theory.
